And rest assured… with hot chocolate season well underway, café culture going from strength-to-strength, and festive frivolity kicking in towards Christmas – 2025 is shaping to be a bumper year when it comes to exciting twists on everyone's favourite winter cuppa. There are experiential and sensory plays galore, for instance – think cocoa flights, flaming brulée tops, and hot/cold affogato-style drinks. And of course, lots(!) of fun toppings, additions and inclusions… XL marshmallow topper or churro stirrer, anyone?
But perhaps the most fun is being had in flavour innovations and mashups. We're seeing the likes of Dubai Hot Chocolate with pistachio, banana-flavoured hot choc, Pumpkin Spice cocoa… and of course, plenty of confectionary and dessert-inspired cuppas. Sign us up for a blackforest hot chocolate ASAP, please!
