Move over Dubai Chocolate – there's a new sweet sensation in town! That's right, everyone meet… Angel Hair Chocolate, the latest viral craze consisting of pistachio cream, pişmaniye (Turkish cotton candy) and the occasional freeze dried fruit, encased in milk, dark or pink chocolate.
This sensory driven delight seemingly ticks all the boxes for creating a bona fide buzz – eye catching, chunky and multi layered, full of fun textures, and of course the all important 'snap' when you break it apart (perfect for filming and sharing on TikTok of course!).
And the more it enters the mainstream – the more we see new twists and takes on the classic formula. Think homemade Angel Hair Chocolate hacks, with pink and milk choclate replaced with anything from orange to blue – and the cotton candy filling taking on rainbow hues – e.g. 'dragon's beard' chocolate with green cotton candy filling anyone? Angel hair chocolate is even finding its way into the frozen category, as ice cream is layered up with chocolate, pistachio and cotton candy. The only question left to ask is… where can we get a hold of some!
